Delete Your OChat Account
The fastest way to delete your account is from inside the app: Settings → Delete Account. If you can't access the app, use the phone-verified self-serve flow below. We send a one-time code by SMS to confirm ownership, then permanently delete the account.
What will be deleted
Your profile (name, avatar, phone, email), contact list, message metadata, sticker installs, settings, and authentication tokens are permanently removed within 90 days. Encrypted backup copies are purged on the same schedule. Messages and media already delivered to other users' devices remain on those recipients' devices subject to their own retention.
What may be retained
We may retain limited records where required by law (for example, abuse-investigation evidence, fraud prevention, tax or accounting records). Anonymous, aggregated statistics that do not identify you may remain in our systems.
