Delete Your O'Chat Account
The fastest way to delete your account is from inside the app: Settings → Delete Account. If you can't access the app, use the phone-verified self-serve flow below. We send a one-time code by SMS to confirm ownership, then schedule the account for deletion and sign you out. Changed your mind? Sign in to the app within 30 days and tap Restore Account. Restoring brings back your account, not any chats erased from your phone; those come back only from a backup. After 30 days the account is permanently deleted and can't be restored.
What will be deleted
Your profile (name, avatar, phone, email), contact list, message metadata, sticker installs, settings, and authentication tokens are permanently removed within 90 days. Encrypted backup copies are purged on the same schedule. Messages and media already delivered to other users' devices remain on those recipients' devices subject to their own retention.
What may be retained
We may retain limited records where required by law (for example, abuse-investigation evidence, fraud prevention, tax or accounting records). Anonymous, aggregated statistics that do not identify you may remain in our systems.

If your phone number is no longer reachable, and a verified email address is bound to your account, we can send the code there instead.
